On October 16, 2026, four student teams were awarded incubation grants totaling ₹2 crore at the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 Grand Finale in New Delhi. The initiative encourages young innovators to develop technology-driven solutions for modern challenges. The winners—QuantHunt from Raebareli, morphism from Raipur, InnoBotix from New Delhi, and Somatrace from Hyderabad—presented projects in cybersecurity, healthcare, wildlife conservation, and sports. These teams will now receive mentorship and support at the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi to help turn their prototypes into market-ready products.

QuantHunt, a team from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, won the AI Living for India category. They designed an artificial intelligence system for cybersecurity that identifies vulnerabilities in encryption. This technology is intended to help organizations prepare their digital systems for security risks associated with the development of quantum computing.

In the Health and Education category, morphism from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, developed an AI-based system to support individuals with autism. The tool analyzes subtle facial expressions and behavioral cues to help users better interpret and understand the emotions of those around them.

The Environmental Sustainability category was awarded to InnoBotix from New Delhi for a device called Sentinel. This solar-powered AI edge tool is designed to detect wildlife as it nears human settlements. By combining cameras, radar, and seismic sensors, the system provides early warnings to help mitigate human-wildlife conflict.

Somatrace from Hyderabad, Telangana, took the top prize in the Sport and Tech category. Their project is a wearable Internet of Things (IoT) device that monitors physical load and spinal angles during training. This data allows athletes and coaches to evaluate injury risks and refine their training techniques more effectively.

Beyond the four primary winners, Samsung recognized 20 finalist teams for their work, providing grants totaling ₹20 lakh and awarding each member a Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphone. The finale also included two Community Choice Awards of ₹1 lakh each and a Digital Impact Award worth ₹50,000. Additionally, an Investor Meet allowed the top 20 teams to connect with investors and members of the startup community to discuss potential funding for their projects.

The 2026 edition of the program saw participation from 648 cities across 28 states and seven Union Territories. Notably, more than 50 percent of the ideas originated in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, highlighting the role of young innovators working outside of India's major metropolitan areas.

This year marks the fifth edition of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow in India, with approximately 80,000 students taking part since the program began in 2022. The Grand Finale jury featured experts from Samsung’s research and development centers along with representatives from government and educational institutions. Through these partnerships, Samsung aims to strengthen the national startup ecosystem by giving young people the resources and guidance they need to develop and commercialize their ideas.
